Examination questions

Public domain

Released as such by the NCVEC Question Pool Committee on each pool's release page, and separately required to be published by 47 CFR 97.523. NCVEC is not affiliated with this project and does not endorse it.

Regulation text

No copyright

CFR text, FCC public notices, and FAA and NIST publications are works of the United States Government (17 U.S.C. 105).

Per-document provenance β€” URL, sha256, retrieval date, and the basis on which each is stored β€” is on the sources page.

Third-party notices

Software and fonts redistributed as part of the built site (site/dist/). Every licence below is permissive and compatible with hosting this publicly, free of charge, including commercially. The obligation each imposes is attribution, which is what this file discharges.

Project code is MIT and authored prose is CC BY 4.0 β€” see LICENSE. Question pools, regulation text, and their provenance are covered there too.

Fonts β€” SIL Open Font License 1.1

Shipped as .woff2 in the bundle. OFL requires the licence to accompany the fonts and forbids selling the fonts on their own; neither restricts use here.
